Additionally, when installing handles on metal garage doors, you must apply adhesive (not supplied) during the installation process. This is optional for solid wood doors. The adhesive should be exterior grade and designed for the materials of your door, such as steel or aluminum.
Your door will not be operational for 24 hours while the adhesive dries on your metal door.
