  • At this time, Garage Door Hardware Direct ships merchandise only to locations within the continental United States and not to international locations. Nor does Garage Door Hardware Direct ship to Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. Any damages in shipping must be addressed to the shipper used-United States Postal, UPS, Fed-Ex. Please file a complain with shipper for damaged goods. We do not credit damaged packages, missing hardware from damaged cartons or damaged hardware parts from shipping. EVERYTHING IS DONE TO SHIP YOUR ORDER IN A TIMELY MANNER. Garage Door Hardware Direct reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you. FOR ALL RETURNS WE MUST BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL WITHIN 20 DAYS OF THE RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER.  Returns also require an authorization number before any products are returned.  Any magnetic product returned, will have a $5.00 restock charge. A 10% restock fee will apply to all other returns authorized.  Return credit is for the product only, not the shipping charges-the shipping price listed on your invoice or your cost of shipping back a return to us.  Special Order items are not returnable.  If you have a question on whetever or not your item is a special order please contact us before ordering.  Failure to acquire a return number will void your return credit.

    NO RETURNS ON OPERATOR PARTS, COLORED HARDWARE OTHER THAN BLACK FINISH OR PARTS WHICH HAVE BEEN INSTALLED OR DAMAGED-INCLUDING SCRATCHES TO DECORATIVE HARDWARE FROM OPEN PACKAGE AND NOT RETURNING MERCHANDISE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING.  

    If you are concerned about your return, all carriers offer affordable insurance option. 

    Please take your time and repackage your return to prevent damage. When carriers see that the package is "GARAGE DOOR HARDWARE" they tend to handle roughly.  

     Hardware returns with scratches will not be credited.  We cannot touch-up the finish on returned hardware or we void the warranty of the powder coat finisher.

    PROTECT YOUR RETURN BY MAKING SURE NO METAL SURFACES ARE TOUCHING and FASTENERS ARE INCLUDED.  Place sheets of paper between metal surfaces.  DAMAGED RETURNS ARE PROBLEMS FOR EVERYONE.  Customer are required to ship back all products for returns including all and any fasteners originally shipped with order. Failure to do so will result in a deduction on return. No credit is given until the authorized product is returned and inspected.  Shipping costs are not refunded.  Please allow up to 4-5 weeks for credit to be proceeded.  Return Authorizations expire 30 days from the issue date. Colors Sliver, Gold, Dark Earth, Copper and Weathered Copper are NON-RETURNABLE.
